Assembly Hall

Enveloping Machine

This stage is the first work station of the assembly line, which is called enveloping station. At this stage, the positive plates are isolated by separators in the form of a bag and the negative plates are grouped one by one according to the requested Ampere.

C.O.S

At this stage, the organized plates are placed in the COS machine and after adjusting the way of arranging them, the machine connects the heads of the flags of the plates with molten lead. Then the operator places these inter connected plates inside the battery box and transfers them to the next step. The transfer operation is done by roller conveyer. Before use in casting station, battery boxes are punched in the punching station by the punching machine, according to the desired sizes, through which the lead strips on the flags are connected to each other.

Punching Machine

In this machine, using a pneumatic jack and existing punches, holes are made in walls of the battery shell, which are the communication path of the battery cell heads and in the welding part, intercell welding is done through this communication path.

Short Circuit

At this stage, the battery is tested by a voltage tester with a specific voltage for a variety of 12- volt batteries, so that if there is a short circuit in a group of plates, the machine will automatically take the product out of the line.

Intercell Welding Machine

After testing voltage, the cast lead strip on the flags is connected by high- amplitude spot welding machine with pressure through hydraulic jaws.

Resistance Welding Test

In this machine, the quality of intercell welding operations is done by measuring the electrical resistance of each weld, and if there is a problem, the defective battery is automatically removed from the line.

Heat Sealing

First, the operator performs the final control visually on the battery and if it matches the sample battery, the product enters the machine by placing cover on the battery box. In this machine, the first battery lid is installed on the battery box using a hot plate.

Leakage Test

At this stage, the batteries are tested with air pressure to ensure that the first door of the battery is welded.

Post Burning Welding

At this stage, the edge of the lead bushing of the door and the pole are automatically melted together and it becomes a uniform cylindrical mold and is welded.

Code Marking

At this stage, a number is engraved on the battery cover on all batteries in order to identify and track the product. It should be noted that in all above steps, there is a communication conveyor between the two devices.
